Stanford Medicine Partners Rheumatology Campbell

Dr. P is a very thorough physician and I enjoy seeing her, unlike some doctors. She really cares about her patients and listens to them even if they can't explain things correctly. She always asks the right questions to get to the answers. She is wonderful!

I have been trying to make an appointment here for almost a month. It has been a back and forth of phone calls. First saying they had not recieved my referral, then they did not have my insurance, then they stated that my insurance was HMO and not accepted. I know that my insurance is PPO so they required me to call my insurance to confirm and then send them my insurance cards again. Once I did that I called to check if they received my cards, they said yes, but that they had no note of a referral for me. Yesterday I was told that they would call me back Thursday and they never did. I called 4 times today and was either placed on hold or the phone was picked up and then went dead. I give up and feel that an office should never allow a patient's care to go on with lack of attention like this. I expressed my frustration and nobody ever took the initiative to make things right or help me.

I liked my consult with Dr. Patel, and felt she listened to my concerns and heard me. I appreciated that she wants to run blood tests to help her determine next steps that can help me with chronic fatigue and pain.

Dr. Balasubramian is an excellent Doctor who listens and exams medical issues thoroughly. She advises appropriately regarding medication, emphasizes the importance of rest (sleep patterns), refers to physical therapy when needed. When asked she also addressed proper diet for inflammation. I know I am very fortunate to have Dr. Balasubramian as my Rheumatologist and I am very grateful.

I called three times to make an appointment. They hung up on me twice. The one time I got through they told me they would call back and didn't. I spent two hours on the phone just trying to get an appointment.
