St. John's Hospital Camarillo

The doctors have been nice when I have gone over the years for migraines/really bad headaches but I guess there is nothing they can do since my condition although very painful is not life threatening. The nurse are nice as well.

Terrible experience with the ER Dr and the phlebotomist was just as bad. They took no interest in me being sick. I left the hospital in the same condition I went in! Dr thought his dry sense of humor was appropriate for someone in tears from vomiting over a week now. I had NO RELIEF and got out of there as fast as I got in there. Google doesn't allow u to put your entire experience but yelp does so u can check my review there for more information! Needless to say I would rather die than go any hospital named Dignity Health when they don't treat their patients with dignity!

Horrible experience! I ended up going in with abdominal pain and getting surgery. ED staff was pleasant and attentive. Nursing staff once I was admitted was horrible!!!!! I was begging for medication to help symptoms and woke up from surgery dripping sweat (thermostat was at 75), having to pee. I took myself for the first time after surgery to the restroom, managing my IV pole. I waited over an hour for ice water and had to beg for Benadryl. Awful experience avoid!!!!!!!!

25 years I have been going to St. John's Camarillo, whether it be for required test, emergency care, major surgery, or care for my aging mother. Always receiving exceptional care and kindness from every department. Thank you for being there.

Nurse Mario was great, really good skills and very kind. Unfortunately the hospital was very dirty. Some brown stuff on the floor, I hope it was mud! I watched housekeeping turn a room, nothing wiped down, did not mop floors. Bathroom was a mess. They were very busy but the care was decent. Would not be my first choice.
