This is sad. Dr. Qiu is actually a good doctor, but his office staff is terrible. They take forever to schedule appointments. They "never" receive faxes from other doctors or from the patient. even though the faxes are sent repeatedly! Also they claim they do not receive emails from other doctors or again directly from the patient or the patient's family. This circus goes on and on. Meanwhile the patient needs to see the doctor STAT so they may get urgent surgery. Dr. Qiu I hope you read this so you will see why your reviews are bad and how your staff is completely incompetent!

It's IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE AN APPT WITH THIS GUY! They have different people who handle new clients and existing ones. Why? When I call, they have to transfer me and Leslie NEVER answers her phone! It ALWAYS goes to voicemail. Then, it takes a few days to hear back. They called back from 1 number that just hung up right after I dialed the extension. This place is a JOKE!

I saw Dr in hospital because I had a small stroke. Went to him after release and to my neurologist. Neurologist said he wanted heart monitor to see if I had afib so dr Qui put Merlin heart monitor in. I called office the next day with a question and day after that but never got a call back. Went to him the next week and he said monitor shows I have heart pauses, like 27 of them, and it could cause a mini stroke. I said is that why I had a stroke and he said oh I didn't put the two together, then said no it was a tia and that is wrong because he and the neurologist had said it definitely was NOT a tia. Now I was nervous. So 3 weeks go by snd he calls me into office and says I need a pace maker because I've had 192 heart pauses In a month and wanted to booked it right away. I wanted a second opinion so went to my sister in law's cardiologist and he hook up the machine to my heart monitor to see the pauses. Nope no pauses , the machine says pauses but if you look at heart rhythms there were no pauses. One of the so called pauses was 56 seconds I'd of been dead. Dr I believe only looked at bottom page where it says Afib-0 pauses-192 not at the actual heart rhythms. The new dr called the Merlin machine company , St Judes, and they said yes there can be false positives when machine is on to sensitive. So I'm lucky I went to other dr otherwise I'd have a pacemaker I don't need.
