UCLA Health Calabasas Specialty Care

I have been a patient of UCLA Cardiovascular practice for several years. During that time the office has made a few mistake that I have over looked. However, in my most recent visit , I felt I was in a puppy factory. 1) My concern about multiple nose bleeds, (several weekly where previous there were decades without any), were swept under the table. 2) the "After Visit Summary" claimed discussions occurred which never happen, 3) I had blood results with multiple "abnormal" results that were never discussed. My health is very important and very expensive, Time to find a office that cares and is diligent.

I called the radiology department to schedule two appointments for an order placed by my doctor. The scheduling desk was not only unhelpful but also confusing. Instead of doing his job professionally, he became condescending and started behaving as if I were someone he felt comfortable treating badly, rather than a client. I decided to end the call and told him I would call back another day to make the appointments, as he had turned a simple task into something unnecessarily difficult and the experience extremely unpleasant. This was an unprofessional and unacceptable way to treat someone at a reputable medical facility. I will definitely be filing an official complaint.

I cannot begin to speak highly enough of Dr. Ghostine and his staff. My mother sought him for back surgery after decades of back problems including prior surgeries. The level of care he and his staff exhibited was a blessing to our family. He not only met our needs, but exceeded them well beyond what we would have asked of him. I am blessed to say that for the first time in twenty years, I saw my mother walk upright and pain free shortly after surgery. His bedside manner reflects true servant talent in that he continued a high level of care throughout the procedure and follow up appointments, as did his staff. To watch my father cry and state that Dr. Ghostine had restored his faith in the medical community was powerful to me and reflected my own thoughts. If you require surgery, I cannot recommend that you seek his services highly enough.

I had the unfortunate misfortune of visiting this medical place recently, and it was nothing short of a nightmarish ordeal. I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment, hoping for a quick and efficient consultation. First and foremost, the scheduled appointments being consistently one hour late is completely unacceptable. I understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise, but this level of disregard for patients' time is simply outrageous. The management of this medical facility seems to have no concept of how valuable time is for patients, many of whom are likely juggling busy schedules and important commitments. My precious time was wasted without any regard, leaving me feeling disrespected and devalued.
