Patient
I was very excited when Dr Hamilton was assigned to my father. I read all the great experience and knowledge she has in cardiology. Unfortunately my experience was horrible... my father DIED under her and her teams care. My father had a severe heart problem. He was transferred to Cedars Sinai. He went through many testing to determine if he would be a heart transplant recipient...He never made it to the list. When discharge from hospital I knew the date to see Dr Hamilton was to far for his condition...I called many times wanting to push up his appointment date and also possibly having her readjust his medicine to assist with his low blood pressure. I did NOT receive a call back...in spite of leaving several msgs with her nurses. Worst part is after his death my family and I scheduled a meeting with her and her team to get details and explanations as to what happened to my father when he died. No doctor nor nurse spoke to us the 4 hours while we were with our deceased father. I will always live with "what if she would have called?" "what if she would have bumped up his appt?" "What if she would have readjusted his meds?" "Would he still be alive?" I hope no one has to go through this horrific experience I have shared.
