I found Clifton to be condescending, pugnacious and argumentative. I came to talk about medications I've been on for years and to evaluate if I was still on the best course of treatment. Left mid session, didn't want to continue to take his attitude which he refused to adjust even after I let him know I was uncomfortable. He also runs unapologetically late. 45 mins today!
Yes I am a problem patient because I'm allergic to adhesives on the leads. Yes I have white coat high blood pressure issues. So Dr Watt said there was nothing he could do for me. Doesn't seem he's a very deep thinker. Feels like abandonment to me. Also the UCSF phone system is so convoluted you never know if anyone ever gets a message because you don't hear back. I'm looking outside UCSF for a cardiologist.
Dr. Watt is the best doctor in my heart, I feel reassured when he is the one who explains things to me and my husband, that's how I trust him to find the best doctor who operated on my heart, as long as it's good for me, he agrees I like him when he explains, I lose my fear because he is the doc who cheers me up, Dr. Watt is the best doctor to me, he is the best.
Tele-visit with Dr Watt gave me peace of mind regarding some chest pain I was having for a few weeks. Would recommend him to others.
