Arvin Medical Clinic

I needed a last min app! They attended me quickly! I'm always getting treated fairly and with joy. I know Dr visits aren't the best but they are definitely better when seen and cared for! Their waiting room is not the biggest but they try to put as many chairs and even have a TV for us to watch. Their MAs are nice and patient! Their rooms are always clean and comfortable.

The staff in the clinic is really friendly and attentive. I don't live in Arvin but I don't mind the driving. Dr. Carmelita never rushes a patient, she is the most caring Dr. I've been to and trust my family under her care. I'd definitely recommend going there.

I'm honestly shocked that all they seem to care about is billing my insurance rather than providing quality care. This is the second time I've had a frustrating experience with them. I requested a simple TB test clearance form, and they required me to schedule an appointment--which I did. But even after that visit, the form still wasn't completed, and I was forced to schedule (and be billed for) a second appointment just to get it done. When I tried to escalate the issue by calling for an office supervisor, I was left on hold for over an hour, only to be hung up on. The level of service here is consistently poor. They frequently blame system outages, internet issues, and claim they can't fax or email documents. The front desk staff seem to be very inexperienced--fresh out of training and lacking the professionalism and knowledge needed to run a medical office properly.

Doctors are really kind and make me feel they really care about me and do their best to help me with any medical issues, and their front desk receptionist Debbie is very kind and friendly makes us feel welcome, nurses are really kind to. The wait may need a little improvement but overall, it's a great clinic.

Last Wednesday, I visited my doctor to got blood test , including determining the gender of my baby and other important health checks. Today, when I called to check on the results, they informed me that I need to come in again for another blood draw. Apparently, the previous blood sample was insufficient. I'm quite frustrated by this situation. It's disheartening to think that such a basic mistake could occur, especially in a medical setting. Now, I'm left wondering if I have to go back on Wednesday for another blood test and wait another week for the results. This whole process seems needlessly complicated and frustrating. I value accurate and timely medical information, especially during such an important time. It's disappointing that this error has caused a delay and uncertainty in receiving crucial health information.
