I have been trying for months to get in contact with Dr. Hashmi's office for a POTS evaluation and consultation. The process has been incredibly frustrating, but the worst part was the receptionist. He argued with me on the phone for nearly 8 minutes, refused to transfer me when I asked, and was outright verbally abusive before finally sending me to the MA's voicemail. The stress from that call left me physically sick and in a flare-up. No patient should ever be treated this way, especially at a cardiology office where people are already vulnerable. He should not be answering phones or dealing with patients. Dr. Hashmi may be a good doctor, but the office staff's treatment of patients is unacceptable. I sincerely hope changes are made so no one else has to go through what I experienced.
