Sutter Delta Medical Center

I went to emergency last year and diagnosed with cancer stage 4 ovarian and traveled to lung and blood. My stay was wonderful in the hospital. I wasn't happy hearing my diagnosis. The food was great and the nurses were attentive. I will go to Sutter for my primary care doctor and she never found anything wrong. I go to emergency and it was cancer. I would not recommend any primary care doctors. If you have a cold or flu are you broke your arm that is it, nothing else. jackieo

Okay so the three star is for how long I waited in the waiting room. However. There is 5 stars for the two amazing nurses who helped me yesterday. I wound up in the we for abdominal pain. Once I was in the room I had a nurse I wish I could remember both of their names. One was new. Like 4 days on the job new. Now I was in pain but elated to finally be brought back. The new nurse was amazing. She had a hard time with my veins because I was dehydrated and they were not cooperating. I can tell nerves were getting the better of her but man. She was fantastic. Let me make jokes and light of it because who wants to be stabbed with a needle? Not me. But she did a phenomenal job. Knew when to ask for help and kept me so comfortable. And later she even told me she got it successfully on her first try with a different patient. No info was given besides she got it on the first try! Keep her around. She truly cares about the people and her job. 10/10 would recommend. She was blonde and has curly hair. The other nurse. Brunette with long straight hair. Thank you ladies for making it a better experience for me

Physicians with surface level knowledge are slow to administer treatment and fail to recognize the need to change treatment course. Moreover, you'll get minimal face time with MDs and you'll rarely know what's going on. They will perform incubation without sedative due to lack of expertise and resources, which leave patients to suffer. Highly recommended going to another facility if you have a complex medical emergency.

Their security is overstaffed and under qualified. Watched this guy sleep for two hours looking like he was higher than a kite, while another one came into work complaining about how the cops were flowing him as he walked by smelling like weed. There were 8 of them just working in the emergency department. Hire 2 better qualified for that price and cut the rest.

I have been at Sutter Delta for a month with my mother in really rough condition I wanted to come on here and shed some light to the staff at Sutter that has been so helpful in these really rough times the nurses on the third floor have been absolutely amazing. Francesca and Kalvin are top-tier nurses and security at the front end of the hospital Julie has made hard days feel so much better thank you to the Sutter team for being supportive in these hard times
