Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital

My visit to the ER today was an excellent experience. One of the security guards noticed I was limping and rushed a wheelchair over to me. The receptionist was very friendly. The nurse who took my vitals was expedient and kind. The x-ray and ultrasound techs were very kind and compassionate. Also, these services are mobile so I didn't have to be shuffled around. This was wonderful since it made it more efficient for everyone and easier on me. The doctor was kind and listened to me. I didn't feel minimized. My only encouragement for improvement would have been for the employee who delivered my test results to have introduced herself and explained up front that the doctor reviewed my tests and asked her to update me since it turned out to me nothing alarming. Even with that, the two employees who gave me the results and after care directions were kind and patient. I was very well taken care of. Thank you Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital!

My seventeen year old son has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and the entire team here has taken the best care of him with complete transparency throughout the process. I'm so grateful for them!

Being today there for CT-scans and MRI. That was for job do paid out of pocket. Im excited from people who serviced me. So professional and polite, have not seen such people for a while. The lady who did my CT are stunning! After she new that im pilot she wrap my elbow which she punch before for contrast agent, by so sweet tape look pic. Thank you for service. Parking easy, even crowd easy to get spot. No queue. Looking forward to get results and files on CD as requested soon.

Check in was routine, however my appointment for Radiology was extremely disappointing. Though I was asked to arrive 15 minutes early, I had to wait 20 minutes past the appointment time and still waiting now 1 hr. past the appointment and not being given any information of how much longer I am too wait. I asked the office and her response was, you should have been contacted when you made the appointment. This is how Veterans are treated.

Cottage Hospital has to be proud of who they are and the kind of people who work for them. From day one my stay with Cottage has been excellent! From ICU to checking out. Congratulations on filling your hospital with kind caring people.
