Dr Parkhurst has been my cardiologist for many years. I trust him completely. Not only is he a wonderful doctor, he is warm, friendly (while also being very knowledgeable about your heart problems), and always a smile and happy face to greet you. He is very easy to talk to. Questions, he has your answer. He helped me more than he knows during the awful times when my husband was so sick and when he passed. His knowledge of my heart problems gave me encouragement when I needed it. Thank you Dr Parkhurst!

This was a few years back but I must share how awesome Dr. Parkhurst was then and I'm sure he still is today..In 2001 UAMS found a aorta blockage performed a occlusion and sent me on my way..Had been prescribed plavix to take after discharge because I felt good and had no insurance I stopped taking plavix..I felt fine. After a few years I started feeling bad..One day while driving in Jacksonville I passed out..I awoke to a smoke filled car and a nice police lady tapping on window of car..They rushed me to hospital they had found two arteries blocked Dr Parkhurst came to the rescue I had two stents placed but while I was getting ready for the stents Dr. Parkhurst asked me why I had quit taking my plavix and I told him to be honest I couldn't afford the meds..Then he asked don't you have a husband and I said yes but he wouldn't pay for my medical care as we were speaking in comes husband with a bag of food to eat while he was there to visit..I have never seen a Dr standup to someone like my husband ever..He chewed him up one side down the other and threw him out of my room. He looked at me and said he's a selfish person your husband and with a chuckle I said yes..It was awesome..anyway Dr Oarkhurst took care of the issue with plavix if I can never afford medicine I was to call that number and I would have no matter what I am never to go without that medicine..Ever..I will never forget how he took care of me.. Thank you so much..Ms..Debra Spencer/ Use to be Stringfellow
