I have to respectfully disagree with the negative reviews. I have been seeing Dr St Pierre for 16 years and would not consider going to anyone else. He is thorough, takes as much time as he needs to examine/question me, and determine the path forward. He is also the most friendly/pleasant physician I have seen in a very long time.
Update: My wife just received a referral to another cardiologist. That is not happening. Dr. St Pierre is the only one I am trusting with my wife's life. I just called my insurance carrier and got approval to take her to Dr St Pierre. Will be making the appointment first thing in the morning.

My husband was taken to St. Vincent Hospital ER in Sherwood, Arkansas, where he was taken care of by Dr. Mark St. Pierre. We arrived by ambulance @ around 3 a.m. I have to admit @ our first meeting the Doctor was a little bit abrupt, and seemed to be in a big rush....but before I formed any opinion of the man, I took a few minutes to think & pray about this short initial visit.... After all, we did arrive in the very wee hours of the morning. Then I asked myself .... I wonder how many hours this doctor, who is after all, a human being, had already been on his feet saving lives today? Did he possibly lose a patient? Was he overwhelmed with the worry of the precious life he holds in his hands during this horrible crisis in their lives? Could he come possibly have a critically ill loved one himself while he was trying to save the life of my love? Maybe there was a shortage of doctors to help carry the burden of so many who are scared & uncertain about all of their tomorrow's ? Was he feeling the weight of the massive responsibility he carries for his patients, yet has to put on a brave & reassuring face for the next emergency that comes in? Was he trying not to show the urgency he was feeling because he already knew my husband was in trouble & needed his help immediately ? I could go on & on about the questions that were flowing into my thoughts, and I'm so thankful because I believe that God put them there to help me....I'm so thankful that within that short initial visit I did not form an opinion of him in one way or another....because AFTER the procedure, AFTER my husband was stable & safe, Dr. St. Pierre turned out to be one of the nicest, most concerned & caring doctors I have ever met... He personally came to my husband's room to check on him & to visit with him after the procedure.... Then again the next day, Dr. St. Pierre was in & out of our room throughout the day, checking on my husband, explaining everything to us in detail, patiently listening to our questions & concerns, and in turn giving us answers & information with such kindness...
So.... Did I almost put my judgment on this man because of a "First Impression" that he was in to big of a Rush & seemed abrupt ? Yes, I did...Did he seem rushed & in a hurry ?
Yes, he did.... He was in a hurry to save my husband's life.... I thank God & Dr. St. Pierre for saving my husband's life.... And I thank God for such a man as Dr. Mark St.Pierre.
YES!! I would highly recommend both GOD & DR. MARK ST.PIERRE to anyone & everyone who desire to have the best care possible!

Terrible bedside manners! He talks down and degrades his patients and their family. Made comments about how disgusted he was with my fathers stomach, threatened not to do surgery, and made comments about how my parents should be spending their money to be able to afford a name brand medicine that their insurance wouldn't cover. Doesn't even give his patients a chance to change their lifestyle. Just badgers them constantly. Rudest doctor I have ever met.

Very helpful, he has cared for our mom for years. Our family loves our mom being in his care.

Rude, judgmental and arrogant. Just because he holds a medical degree does not give him the right to treat patients with such condescending disgust! Staff at St Vincent hate him too.
