Hakan Paydak, M.D., is professor of medicine and director of cardiac electrophysiology program and laboratory at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara, Turkey, and trained in cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Case Western Reserve University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, and University of Chicago Hospital in Illinois. Prior to joining UAMS faculty in 2009, Dr. Paydak was on staff at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
