Dr. Chakka was over 1 hour and 15 minutes late to our appointment. There was no apology; He didn't even acknowledge he was late. After that, he wanted to increase my medication because he said it would help prevent my multiple episodes of a-fib. I haven't had multiple episodes of a-fib. It happened once and I went the ER. This statement alone tells me he wasn't listening to me. I was referred to him for a possible ablation but all he wanted to do was increase meds.
Dr Chakka was very knowledgeable of my heart and has helped me. My problem is with his scheduling. They refuse to set up a yearly check up time. When I called them the month of my yearly check up, I was told I could not get in for 4 more months and that I should have called earlier! What? I tried to schedule the appt they refused and when I tried on the month it was due, I should do better! No! Wish he was not such a good doctor because his front desk is frustrating. Talk to me about trying to pay my portion of the doctor visit...that was frustrating too.
Dr Chakka is an amazing doctor. He really took the time to listen to my son's health issues and diagnose him correctly. He is very knowing his field and trust cares about his patients. His nurses are also very helpful. Great clinic.
Very kind and thoughtful !!!!! He explains everything and his nurses and office is great !!!!!
He is fabulous but the wait times are some times a couple of hours.
