About Dr. Dwight Chrisman, MD, FACC

I believe educating a patient in a manner that results in positive cardiovascular health changes is rewarding. There are many minimally invasive options available to high-risk patients. After completing work on his bachelors degree at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Dr. Chrisman attended University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and earned his MD degree in 1997. Following his internships and residencies in internal medicine at UAMS, he went on to complete a fellowship at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio.

Did a procedure on my varicose veins. Dr. Chrisman did injections on my left leg, his nurse Jacques assured me a few weeks after procedure that vein was successfully shut. I went to Arkansas Heart Hospital last week and they said it s not shut (was what I thought since vein is bulging from my leg). Not sure if my insurance will approve me doing another procedure to try and shut it. Doctors should take responsibility for unsuccessful work and not just move on to next patient.

Dr. Chrisman saved my husband's life on Christmas day. He had 100% blockage in one artery and over 75% in 2 more. He cleaned those arteries out, put in 3 stents, put him on some (much needed) medicine, kept him in the hospital for a couple of days and sent him home...... So......Dr. CHRISMAN will forever be part of our family's CHRISTMAS miracle story.

I would just like to say that Dr is the best Dr,, nurse is the rudest person to me, when they unwrapped the bandage, she said the blisters and sores were all my fault, my pain level 10, I was about ready to cry, I asked her if the leg was infected she said no, my Dr says it is, am on meds for it, also after she scolded me in an elevated voice tone, she says now get dressed, my walker was way across the room, I can't walk, so I grabbed an IV pole to reach the walker, I have never been treated that way by any medical professional before.

Patient

Dr. Chrisman's nurse constantly fails to get back with patients in a timely manner. Not sure if she's a "one man" show but I know it's not due to Covid just because this has been ongoing before covid. Not returning calls a week plus is absolutely not okay. Do better.
