What attracted me to the field of cardiology is the combination of caring for acutely ill patients and then managing their chronic health issues.
After receiving an undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Orsini earned his M.D. in 1995 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He went on to complete an internal medicine residency, chief medical residency and his fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Michigan Medical School.
Dr. Orsini has several areas of expertise ranging from cardiac catheterization to nuclear cardiology. In addition, he is a Level 3 Echocardiographer.

Dr Orcini treated my mom and my dad with no respect. Very disappointed and very upset! Thank goodness my mom got a second opinion. She had to had a heart cath with another Dr and he caught a 75% blockage in my moms lower LAD! She could have had a major heart attack (widow maker). Could have lost her life because of his negligence! Dr. Orcini would not look at her failed stress test or any of her other tests done! I do NOT recommend him at all! Horrible treatment and horrible bedside manner and complete lack of care!

Was having chest pain and went to Dr Orsini. His APRN saw me because he was out of town. She decided I needed a CAT scan. Got it and Dr Orsini read it and said it was very abnormal. He did a heart Cath and found a 99% blockage which is very difficult to clear and stent. He backed out and sent me to another specialist, Dr Menton who cleared it and placed a stent in. Outstanding Doctors. No more chest pain.

Outstanding Doctor. He treats you as a member of his family. He takes his job very serious. He will even get second opinions from his colleagues just to make sure he is doing the very best for you. He has a very caring soul. He truly cares about his patients. He has always gone that extra mile for me as I am on dialysis. My heart plays a very important part of my life and any surgeries that I would need. He sees to it that my heart is at its very best.

Very displeased with Dr. Orsini. My grandfather was transferred by ambulance to Baptist on 5/11 and was discharged 5/19. During his stay my family and I never saw Dr. Orsini although we requested multiple times to talk to him and even requested a family meeting with no luck. On his final day we asked if Dr. Orsini would be through to see us before being discharged and we were informed that he was at the nurses station when my family members approached him he acted as if he was being bothered. My family proceeded to ask him questions and he continued to type on his computer and never even took a second to look up and acknowledge that he was being spoken too. Very displeased with the service of Dr. Orsini.
