Dr. Richard Stevenson has been in Jonesboro, AR for 25+ years practicing Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery.
After graduating from the U of A for Medical Sciences, he completed his residency in general surgery and his fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
He was an Associate Professor of Surgery at The Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, LA before returning to Joneesboro to establish his current practice and to assist in the development of the heartcare programs in the area.

I would give Dr. Richard Stevenson a double 5 star rating. He even came to my house and brought me some medicine. He ended up staying and having supper with us. He can also pick a guitar and sing Mad Moon A Rising. He did a quadruple bypass on me 17 years ago and I felt 10 younger after the surgery. I just recently had to have a double bypass and cardiology told me the Stevenson was no longer with them. I thought he had retired. So I let them go ahead and set me up for surgery they got me set up with Dr. Bahma I had some problems after surgery but doing OK I guess.
I found out later he is at BMH. I sure wish I had known that.
