NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital provided a very positive experience. The staff members were friendly, approachable, and worked well together, which made for a comfortable environment. The hospital is clean and well-maintained, and it was clear the team is dedicated to patient care. From efficient procedures to thorough explanations from the healthcare providers, every step put my mind at ease. I appreciated how they took the time to answer questions and made sure both myself and my husband felt informed and supported throughout the visit. My husband and I were both very impressed with how attentive my Doctor was. He even performed a thorough physical examination, which put my mind at ease since I often worry about possible inflammation I might not be aware of. Overall, a great place for care in Jonesboro. Highly recommended for their professionalism and genuine concern for patient well-being.

Worst Hospital I've ever been to. St.Bernards is way better and more Equipped to take care of you. NEA providers such as Shawna Furgesson in Neurology is a joke. I will not be back to this hospital.

Critical Patient Safety Failure and Unsafe Delay in Care for Confirmed Neurological Condition I am writing this review to warn future patients about a severe patient safety failure and unacceptable standard of care experienced at the NEA Rheumatology Clinic. My appointment with NP Shawna Ferguson on December 4, 2025, resulted in documentation errors, a dismissal of specialist findings, and an unsafe delay for a severe, progressive condition. Key Issues Based on My Medical Records: Failure to Act on Specialist Diagnosis: NP Ferguson received the results of an urgent Nerve Conduction Study (EMG/NCS) performed by Dr. Kenneth Chan (NEA Neurology), which confirmed a severe finding: Chronic Denervation in all four limbs due to Stenosis. Despite receiving this confirmed neurological diagnosis from a specialist within the same NEA system, the NP failed to contact me and scheduled a follow-up for over 12 weeks (April 2026). This is a dangerous delay for a widespread, progressive neurological condition. Deliberate Omission of Severe History: The NP reviewed my medical records and actively ignored my prior, documented history from a 2019 Neurosurgeon's APN: "Rapidly Progressive Neuro Deficit" and "Lumbar Radiculopathy." She also failed to connect this history to the current confirmed four-limb denervation. Inaccurate and Inadequate Physical Exam: The NP recorded that I had no issues with swelling or range of motion after performing an inadequate physical exam. She did not leave her chair to physically examine me while I was fully clothed, and this documentation directly contradicts my verbal report of "debilitating pain" and prior history of swelling. Conclusion: The decision to ignore a confirmed, progressive neurological crisis (Chronic Denervation in all four limbs) and instead maintain an unsubstantiated suspicion of Fibromyalgia, coupled with the unsafe delay in follow-up, constitutes a severe lapse in medical judgment and patient safety standards. I urge the NEA administration to review the NP's documentation protocols and follow-up standards immediately. I am now seeking urgent care from a Neurologist and Spine Specialist outside of this department.

Went to the emergency room I guess I must have got the dr death guy I as my doctor, this is hospital is not for the poor only upper class you can tell as soon as you walk in, they people clearly don't know what the word hippa means they just yell everyone's business across the floor I knew why they were there and they knew all about my issues as well nothing was confidential about my visit. Dr literally would not even make eye contact with me, acted like I was a drug seeker, I wish someone he loves goes through this experience he gave me, I was sent home and had two seizures with in a hour of leaving this place.
