I've used another Dr at St. Bernard's that is very popular but seems too busy to see me and her APRN was unable to figure my problem out. Seen APRN Devin in ER we loved him. He worked with Dr Chavez, then seen in the hospital by Dr. Chavez, he did a couple test, (i couldnt do quick back home) and found results quickly. Very pleased I can see Dr Chavez again in 3 months at his office. Hopefully he has me on the right track now.
I had the biggest scare of my life recently and when I arrived at the er and heart cath team took over, I was lucky enough to have Dr. Chavez. Him and his team saved my life 2 times that day and I couldn't ask for more professional team. He explained things that we could understand and answered the questions that my family had.
Each individual that I met was very professional from the moment I entered the facility. Each nurse that I encountered was very knowledgeable and courteous. Dr Chavez has a remarkable personality and is very considerate in sharing answers to any questions that I might have. Actually, he shares the needed information in a way that I really had no questions about the earlier procedure. He always make me very comfortable and confident that he knows my heart situation and how best to care for it.
We love Doctor Chavez! He has saved my daddy's life a few times. He is caring and down to earth, but can be stern if needed. He also has a very good bed-side manner. He never fail to ask us if we ha e any questions or concerns. We couldn't ask for a better cardiologist!
I have a special needs son who is 37 years old. Due to his genetic disorder he is mentally impaired and has multiple heart issues. The girls is Dr Chavez office are wonderful with him! From the young lady who got his weight and showed us to our exam room to the poor lab girls who drew his blood ( no small feat )- they all were talking to him, explaining what was going on & why, and above all, each had patience. Not all offices are as companionate as Dr Chavez and his team. We are blessed to have him and his staff as our cardiologist.
