Mercy Hospital Fort Smith

Cardiology wouldn't preform a treadmill stress test on my mother without using the chemicals. They also wouldn't do the catch lab when it was indicated and the Dr requested it. Dr Osborne was amazing and did his best to advocate for my mother but ended up discharging her so we could get better care. Some nurses didn't not use proper precautions when entering patients rooms that were on contact precautions. She stayed for 4 days total and it was a waste of time and resources. DO NOT BRING YPUR FAMILY HERE!!!

Though the wait time to see the doctor was a few hours, I can honestly say they were thorough in getting down to the issues I was experiencing. They all treated me so well, very kind and actually found the issue. It would have not been found is they didn't take the time to investigate. I was extremely thankful.

Had to have a hysterectomy and went great. I had an amazing dr. Dr. Householder was absolutely what I would want in any dr. Even though I went back for complications, they were caused by own actions. But my whole care team was amazing. They were thorough and helpful in any way they could be personally and medically. I thank you all!

First of all I waited in the emergency room and excruciating pain and fluid building up my body for over 7 hours and then I finally get you wrong they give me something for the pain it does nothing they give me lasix it doesn't nothing and now there assuming that it's an allergic reaction to my antibiotic that I took a week ago which is very highly impossible. So now they're going to give me steroids which caused my blood pressure to go up in my head already hurts and I'm already swollen when what they need to be doing is ordering it echocardiogram but instead they're poking me 10 times literally you guys 10 times to draw blood and they took my urine five times and I still do not have the results of any. Oh and not to mention they are very judgmental. But when all this fails and they say it wasn't an allergic reaction and it was my heart the entire time if something happens to me you can best believe a lot of people will not be happy period point blank!!!!!

Mercy hospital of Ft. Smith, Ar. is the best. Dr. Mehl and the staff of the cardiac unit are exceptional. My wife and I were kept informed, treated with dignity and respect. The staff kept us feeling at ease and someone was always nearby if needed. I've found that to be a standard with this hospital, a supremely excellent medical facility
