I've had to go to the ER for blood transfusions and this is the hospital I would choose every time. Wait time is usually pretty low and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They set me up with my ice, warm blanket, TV, and turned the lights out to let me nap during my infusions. If it wasn't so expensive and they served alcohol, I'd check in once a week for a mini vacay.

I'm here today because I couldn't breathe this morning. Also in so much pain. They took me right back and they all have been so nice to me. Luke especially has been such a sweet man. I wish I knew all their names to give them all a good review. Thank you guys so much Madison she was a sweet heart as well. Dr Ryan Sullivan be was only a few minutes with me but he was also good to me. I wish I knew the names of the other's but I appreciate all they did for me. If you worked with Kristall Autry today thank you so much.

I don't know what's with this hospital anymore. But they have gotten seriously pathetic and lazy as hell. There seems to be only like a less then a handful of doctors remaining cause I've only seen 2 in last 2 weeks. And other then that it is lead by a nurse practitioner that he doesn't seem to know how to look at shit and doesn't do anything to help the patient.
These people seem to have quit caring about people's health unless ur dying or losing a limb. They don't care. They'll just send u home with unanswered questions and not Helping the person get better. They will just send u home in pain or worse.
This hospital needs to be shutdown. Cause at least we still have 2 hospitals. We don't need this scrappy baptist health anymore. It's no wonder why everybody goes to mercy anymore. Cause at least they care

June 1, 2025 I Arrived at the ER At 12:02 am With chest pains. It took till 1 o'clock in the morning to get an ICU I was at a level 10 pain during that time they finally put me on a nitroglycerin drip. Ashley Mohadjer, DO, FACC, FSCAI Came in Monday morning and Proceeded to say We can do the surgery early in the morning around 8 o'clock It this afternoon. I told her especially let's do it now and get it done cause I'm in pain so 20 hours into this I go in for the operation there's 100% blockage on my LCX mid way. Then she said my LAD was blocked widow maker, was blocked 30 and 50 percent on the branching arteries. The day after I was released After surgery, I was still having chest pains, and taking nitroglycerin pills. Three days later, I went back into the hospital My cardiologist went back in and noticed a 50% to 80 that's closer to 90% blockage on my LAD Artery, dr. Ashley Mohadjer Proceeded to say, she didn't see nothing that she hasn't seen before on the report from my cardiologist. I'm like oh really the Widowmaker wasn't that bad but now it is! She offers me two options 1 Wait in the hospital for two days or Schedule a an operation the following week with this condition, which has a High mortality rate! I said I'll wait in the hospital. She said we do it early in the morning because this procedure takes a while. The day of the procedure none of her staff told us they had moved the operation out to 12:30 AM instead of 8:30 AM. Then when 1230 was here We asked when is it gonna happen for the surgery? They pushed it out at 1:30 PM. The hospital is short on rooms and nurses. Everybody that's in training there almost has not signed a contract with Baptist because they do not want to be tied down to that hospital. And the ones I have signed a contract are desperately waiting for their time to be up! Also the same problems happening So bad that they're flying doctors in from New York to fill-in for spots at the hospital. If you have a serious condition, try to make it to mercy er Or even better go up to Northwest Arkansas cause that's where they're at the good doctors because of the pay. The city of Fort Smith Let us down in providing us with good doctors at our hospitals. They have let the ball dropped. I hope this helps with anybody that's deciding to go here. Also, I have talked to the representative for Baptist health. Nothing's going to change. It's like they listen and don't be apologetic for it. I guess that mean a guilty if they say something. Also, their food menu hasn't been changed since March and the order something instead of what they fix you get a look from the person that's taking the order You get a dis satisfied look. The one woman that has coffee on her cart she was very nice. And the only problem I had was with one nurse she is on room floor four she was a Spanish nurse. She was just short tempered. You can tell she didn't want to be there. All the other nurses and I see you floor six floor four was nice. The kid that took my blood sugar Ethan he didn't even clean my finger off before he pricked me And I told him he need to because I just got done eating an orange or sugar wouldn't be correct on the test. Trust me this hospital has issues with management. That's the only explanation I can give because the doctors get away with what they're being done Is management. I will be eagerly waiting on this letter that I will be getting to see what this open investigation will find so I can share what you don't find. July 4th add another thing why is your hospital short on pillows?. You have floors that are blocked off for years now we don't have enough staff to cover it. You have no pillows there's a pillow shortage unreal!!!

I am truly blessed I was referred to Baptist Health in Fort Smith. I had a bicuspid that had created an aneurysm on my aortic root. The first team I was involved with was Dr. Parris and his team in cardiology. He and his team were professional and took care of me through my heart cath. Then Dr. Stone and his surgical team took care of replacing my bicuspid valve and repairing my aortic root. Both teams we alway communicating with me and yes this includes the doctors. I always knew what was going on. After surgery I had the best nurses and assistants in the ICU and at the drop down level before I was released. Top notch could not have asked for any better. After being released from hospital any questions I had and still have are answered by the appropriate team and very quickly. I am truly happy and would recommend Baptist Health's cardiology and thoracic surgery team to anyone who needs this type of care. Thank you all so much.
