Between Dr Waqas and Dr Kumar I been giving a second chance at life. Dr. Kumar is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain all your questions. I am so blessed to have Dr. Kumar as my Cardiologist. I currently have a LVAD and since installed I feel great. My A1C is 5.7, before it was over 11. My weight is down. I have the energy I had before I was diagnosed with CHF. Thank you Dr. Kumar, your one of the best.
Dr. Kumar seemed very knowledgeable, acted interested in my health answered my questions and even personally called me before I could get out of the parking lot to tell me the results of testing that came in after I left. She was easy for me to understand and a great communicator.
Very inept medical care at Mercy Ft Smit. Cardiology department has no clue what their people are doing. Drove from Fayetteville AR 70 miles for an appointment only to find out the person doing my scheduled test was not there. This is the second time this has happened. I'm finding a new cardiologist and leaving Dr Kumar Albert M Baker Update: I requested a referral to a Cardiologist in NW Arkansas from my primary care physician at Mercy. His nurse sent my records and requested referral to Mercy Referral Department and that department did nothing with my referral for two weeks. I only discovered this today 9/18/23 after calling Mercy to find out why no referral was sent. Just another example of incompetence at Mercy Health. Albert M Baker
