I was recommended to Dr Erica Flores because she specializes in Women's Health. I had currently been going to another Cardiologist who didn't listen to my concerns and had no compassion what's so ever! Shortly after my first visit I experienced very low heart rate, it kept dipping below 45 for most of the day, I called the office and was told to leave a message with her nurse. I left a message and several hours later the nurse returned the call and told me to take half of the medication I was taking. The next morning I woke up in Afib and had a resting heart rate of 128 and above, I was very light headed and kept feeling as if I was going to pass out. We called the office as soon as it opened. I of course got nothing but answering machines prompting me to other people and finally I talked to someone who said leave a message with her nurse. I was scared and just wanted someone to say, you will be fine or go to the ER. After about an hour, I called again. Again I was told to leave a message with her nurse. It's been almost 3 weeks and I have yet to get a call from Dr Flores, or her nurse. I ended up going to the ER that day where they preformed a Cardioversion. This was an episode with my heart, not a stubbed toe! The lack of concern and compassion is disgusting!

Dr. Flores is exactly what a doctor should be, especially when you're a patient who is afraid or concerned with what is happening to your body. Her bedside manner is professional, calming, and attentive. She takes time to listen to concerns and questions, and then takes time to explain course of action, the "why" for doing certain things, and also the science behind it. Every time I have seen her I've felt heard. I would recommend her to anyone.
