I absolutely LOVE Dr. Makkar! Initially I was extremely nervous about having the ablation procedure, but after speaking with him and covering all the details he assured me that I would be fine; I believed him and...HE WAS RIGHT! I appreciate the fact that he is a straight shooter. I would definitely recommend Dr. Makkar to my friends and family.....I am 100% confident in the abilities of him and his staff.

After read all these good review, booked appointment. First visit, $45 copay, doctor talked to me less than 2 minutes, and ordered 7 day monitor and heart image. Second visit, $45 copay, assist put the monitor on. The monitor costs $4000+, instead of insurance, I was asked to sign a paper for damage which I refused. Third visit was for imagine--- there are many imaging centers near me but they told me that I have to go to their affiliated location which is about 20 miles away so I did not go. If I go, there will be another $45 copay. Forth visit, $45 copay, after waited 40 minutes, doctor came in and talked to me for less than 2 minutes -- telling the report of the monitor. My experience with other providers is that you only need to pay one copay at the first visit. But this clinical charges copay on each follow up. Just want to share the truth with patients.

The Staff at this facility were very friendly when I arrived. They helped me find the place I was to go and stated the approximate wait time. When I was with Dr. Makkar his visit was prompt, pleasant, informative, as always. His Nurse was very nice and a great member of his Team. I highly recommend Dr. Makkar and his staff! P. Garrett

Feel that Dr. Makkar did an excellent job on the AFIB procedure, although still too early to evaluate long term results, so far everything is progressing well! Will re-post in 2 - 3 months on progress.
