So difficult to simply speak to ANYONE. I saw Dr. Tran weeks ago . I was to get a call from his staff regarding getting my holter monitor. I've been having PVC's at an alarming rate and I am symptomatic. I have called, not once, not twice, but now 4 times and after being on hold 45 minutes, the call just ended. I did speak to someone once after a long hold only to be told that the person who schedules Holter monitoring had already left. I vented my extreme frustration and I was told there would be a " high priority." Message inputed and I would absolutely get a call back, the next day. Never happened. Was I surprised, of course not. I know my call is to a call center where they handle all calls for all locations. Hire more staff, or just be honest and say " I don't know if anyone will call back, most likely not. Now I get to leave work early and drive to a location in order to get this scheduled. I don't care if your short staffed, I need my holter monitor. Saying if you want a call back by an agent and keep your place in line, on your recording seems sufficient. It isn't, it is another way to avoid talking to patients. Fix the problem, or hire someone who can.
