Patient
I would strongly caution anyone against trusting Tri-City Cardiology and Dr. Ly. I went in one week after being diagnosed with myopericarditis. When I was discharged from the hospital, multiple doctors made it absolutely clear: no strenuous activity, no work, no exertion, and stay on colchicine for months until tests prove the inflammation is gone in my heart. When I saw Dr. Ly, he didn't even bother to look at my hospital records. They ran a quick EKG, and he brushed me off as "totally fine." He even tried to take me off colchicine after only one week -- which is flat-out dangerous and goes against every guideline I was given by hospital doctors. He also told me I was cleared to go back to normal activities and work immediately, which directly contradicted all of the medical advice I had just received. On top of that, he came across dismissive and acted like he couldn't care less about my condition. This isn't just unprofessional -- it's reckless. If I had blindly followed his advice, it could have seriously jeopardized my recovery. I will never go back, and I hope anyone considering Tri-City or Dr. Ly thinks twice before putting their health in his hands.
