Dr Ott is amazing. Very professional, thorough, and has great bedside manner. You can tell he actually cares about his patients. His nurses and assistants always call you back right away and take care of whatever you need.

Dr Ott, Jennifer and his team have always gone above and beyond when it has come to my and my daughters care. I am not exaggerating. Dr. Ott put my ICD in 13 years ago and my daughters ICD in 8 years ago. I have called, texted and email Jennifer in the middle of the night, on weekends and everywhere in between and she has ALWAYS answered right away. If advise from Dr. Ott was needed he ALWAYS answered as well within the hour no matter the time or day. I put ridiculous expectations on them and they have always met and exceeded them. We live in Phoenix now but I will not see anyone else- nor will my 22 year old daughter and 19 year old son. Just this weekend my daughter was in the Gilbert Mercy ER for issues with the incision from a newly placed ICD six weeks ago. I texted Jennifer at 2 am. She answered me within the hour and said she already contacted the on call Fellow as well as Dr. Ott who was in Germany on vacation. Dr. Ott actually called the ER doctor at 3 am to consult with him for my daughters treatment. Not the on call doctor- But Dr. Ott himself because he was her surgeon and wanted to make sure she way ok and treated correctly. Their team is exceptional in every way. I have told Jennifer several times that over the past 8 years I would not have made it with out her regarding my daughters treatment- and I meant it. She has listened to me cry uncontrollably when my daughter was diagnosed with Long QT syndrome, when she was fainting from symptoms, and have hugged and laughed with me as well. You will not find a better team ANYWHERE. Banner is lucky to have them and they should recognize them for their abilities and knowledge as well as them always goin above and beyond to make sure their patients needs are always taken care of 1st and foremost.

Dr. Ott is the consummate professional. His evaluation of me was thorough, including all lab work and stress testing. His manner is direct and all-business, which some may confuse with a lack of care. They should buy a dog if the want a sympathetic ear. For cardiologist care, Dr. Ott is probably the best in this region.

I'm a nurse in a rural hospital. One of the physicians I work with, speaks highly of Dr. Ott. I had seen 12 different cardiologists from El Paso Tx, Albuquerque Nm and my home of Alamogordo Nm. None have been able to assist me. They all treated my test results and not me as a patient or my symptoms. I had a hospital admission in El Paso tx for Asystole pauses last several seconds. The physicians in el paso discharged me with out a pacemaker. The treatment for this sick sinus syndrome. Dr. Ott scheduled me with in two days to be seen. Days later, I had my pacemaker. It's been 8 months and not a single syncopal episode. Dr Ott listed and treated me. I see why he was so highly recommended by several doctors I work with. I glad drive 5 hours to see him. He saved my life. And I'm only 38. My wife, kids and I cant thank him enough.

I do not like the hospital at all but Dr. It is one of the best in his field
