Born in Iraq and spent the majority of my life in Canada. Studied human biology at the University of Toronto while also playing volleyball and soccer. Majority of medical school training was spent in Brooklyn, NY, followed by residency and fellowship training in Albany, NY. Completed training as an interventional cardiologist at the University of Connecticut prior to coming to Sierra Vista. Service in the Community: Volunteer at the Good Neighbor Alliance, Nancy Brua Animal Shelter, and S.A.H.A.R.A. Family life: Married, no children, 5 rescue animals: one dog and 4 cats (all adopted). Hobbies: Snowboarding, gardening, swimming, traveling.

Our community is exceptionally lucky to have Dr Fahad as a heart doctor. He already saved my life by finding and fixing a 99% blockage in my "widow maker artery" that i knew nothing about. Dr. Fahad is THE BEST Cardiologist and Dr. I've ever uncounted. Never rushed, always explained everything to me. Dr Fahad is super kind, compassionate, and caring. After not seeing him for over a year, Dr Fahad saw me at the Hospital, and remembered me and my name, he asked how I was doing, I told him I was still experiencing the same problems. Dr. Fahad had me scheduled for a procedure within days. Dr Fahad stayed with me the whole time, and explained everything that was going to happen.. Dr Fahad was able to diagnose my problem.. I almost lost my life due to blood clots caused by a facility that didn't do their job and I was taken to the emergency room and Dr. Fahad and his team were the most wonderful caring doctors I have ever ever had!!
