About Dr. Dr. Shakeel Khan, MD, FACC, Coronary Artery Disease
Dr. Khan is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and endovascular (peripheral) medicine. He's also certified in adult comprehensive echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography, and certified by the American Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
Prior to his work with Phoenix Heart, Dr. Khan served as the director of the cardiac catheterization lab at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, Arizona.

No nonsense approach to healthcare. Phoenix Heart has literally saved my life several times for over a decade now.
At one point I didn't even have insurance and it took me almost a year to settle my bill. Never heard a peep about that unless I asked about my balance, their only concern was my medical condition.
The doctors are incredible. Staff is always friendly yet professional.
My only complaint is that one doctor I really liked (Fred Cucher) retired without my permission.
I'm seeing Dr. Kahn now and besides absolute trust in him, I like him very much as well. If Dr. Cucher had to go, I'm thankful Dr. Kahn stepped in.
All I need to do is follow their instructions and I'll live forever.
I moved away 4-5 years ago & make the 5 hour drive (one way) for my appointments. It's well worth it!
