Total Point Prescott Medical

Loved Dr. Davis, but the staff is horrible! Trying to get my meds filled has been ridiculous. My pharmacy called them more than 5 times without a response. I have called several times and asked to speak to manager who is "out". Had to find out my doctor quit. Who could blame her. My insurance company said to file a formal complaint against this company. Don't jeopardize your health with this place.

Attention office manager: Dr. Davis is fantastic! She is the best medical provider that I have had in more than 15 years! She is the reason I go to Total Point. Quality care, accommodating patient care and excellent interaction! She gets 5 stars! The office staff is another thing. It took me 2 visits and 3 phone calls to get my routine Rx filled. They don't return calls within 72 hrs. Though they say they respond within 24 hrs...I got crickets. I had to actually go down to the office after 3 days to make it happen. The tired excuse was..."we are short staffed and we have a new system"...if I had a dollar everytime I have heard that... Change my expectation by saying you'll respond within 5 business days and then do it...! that would be more reasonable than not responding within 72 hrs. ...and hang on to Dr. Davis at all cost...she will keep people choosing Total Point even with subpar staff.

Pros: Good location, Easy parking. The staff seems nice. Cons: They go through a lot of PA's. In the several years I was a patient I rarely had my prescriptions filled. I would have to make numerous calls to their office with NO results. The pharmacy would call Total Point and Total Point would tell me they never received any pharmacy calls. Walking into their office was also a waste of time. My needed prescriptions would take weeks to get. For years all they ever said was "they are switching to a new computer system. It's the new computer system's fault, blah blah blah". I finally had enough and went elsewhere. This place is a waste of time. Read the other reviews. I am not the only one.

I have tried to give this practice the benefit of the doubt, but I am fed up. When I first went in, I needed a simple medication refill. They didn't submit it and then by the time they did I was out (it was sleep medication, so I didn't get to sleep for 2 days). Since then, I have had to call them nearly every month to refill my prescription instead of them just automatically writing it with refills. It's beyond ridiculous that I have to keep making phone calls for something so simple and every month it takes multiple days just to get a refill. Done with this place

I can't get them to refill a prescription or answer the phone. Pharmacist even said they are generally hard to get ahold of. Are they still in business?
