Sometimes it's not the doctor that is the problem it is the system they work in. Dr Naik outlined a plan to repair my heart after 4 years of getting turned away. He said he would do a TEE and a catheter exam, look at my heart valve and repair it with a clip, drain the fluid from my abdomen, and my water retention would be over. But when it came time to schedule a nurse, who thinks she knows better, has changed it all and strung it out, and thus strung out my suffering even longer. There is no patient portal to message the doctor, no phone number to him, and I can only leave word with another nurse or worker that may or may not get to the doctor. Very frustrating.
