Dr. Desai is a rare diamond in the flawed and often frustrating healthcare system. I cannot sing her praises enough, both as a patient and a registered nurse. Unfortunately, I have had to interact with far more healthcare providers than any human should have to in a lifetime. That being said, I have never met such a competent, compassionate, innovative, and respectful physician, either professionally or personally. I am so grateful to have her as a part of my care team, and I am comfortable consulting her with my health issues. She has earned my complete trust despite years of medical trauma. Your patients are so lucky to have you!

I have spent three years trying to get a diagnosis (for POTS) and a solid treatment plan after seeing a number of doctors and going to many facilities throughout Arizona. I became very frustrated and wanted to give up on getting answers. Finally, I luckily found Dr. Sarika Desai, after she was recommended to me from my cardiologist. Dr. Desai is one of the only doctors that specializes in POTS in the Phoenix area, so it was critical that I also saw her while seeing my cardiologist and my other team of specialists. While, her practice is out of network/my insurance did not cover her and I am on a small graduate student salary, it was totally worth it to invest as it has truly helped me to feel better. At first, I was a little skeptical given that I have been trying to find what is wrong with me for three years. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and decided to see Dr. Sarika Desai. I am so glad that I made that decision. To reiterate, it has really changed my life. Dr. Desai was not only able to give me a diagnosis immediately (really after the first visit of seeing her), but she was also able to provide me with a better understanding of how to improve my health holistically. She really wants to ensure that symptoms are not just treated, but that we get to the root cause of the problem, which most MDs unfortunately do not do. Through that extensive process, we reviewed all of my medical records together over the last three years or more and made sure that we were not missing any of the pieces that could give us a clue about what is going on. On top of making sure we got to the bottom of my health and POTS, she really boosted my confidence and made me feel like I can be a better advocate for my own health. She truly inspired me to not give up and to be assertive with other doctors that became part of my care team. One way she did this was by making sure that we also focus on my mental health, as anxiety/depression can be common in those who have been trying to find a diagnosis for so long and with POTS. Dr. Desai and her staff made sure to check in on me while I was working on my treatment plan. After several months of self-treatment, Dr. Desai had noticed a huge improvement in how I was looking and feeling. She really made me feel confident and hopeful that I could ultimately feel better and get better. I would highly recommend Dr. Desai to anyone who is struggling with finding a diagnosis for POTS and who simply wants to experience a doctor who actually listens, cares, and respectfully works with their patients to ensure a life filled with happiness. Dr Desai is a great Dr. She is knowledgeable, professional, thorough, pleasant, and very attentive to your needs! She has done a wonderful job helping my wife and myself with our heart issues! She has educated us on ways to improve our heart health. As a result, we have seen our heart health improve dramatically! I would greatly recommend her to anyone with heart issues! Her staff reflects the great care that she has demonstrated!

Dr. Desai is so knowledgeable not only in her field but in treating the patient as a whole. She takes the time to listen and understand patient concerns and follows up with treatment plans that address multiple systems. I came to her with long-term problems that I had given up on due to past doctors not listening to my concerns. Dr. Desai immediately identified the problems I had been struggling with my entire life and helped guide me to the specialists that would best meet my needs to coordinate with her treatment. I am so thankful for her! She's amazing!

Dr. Desai, her lovely staff, and also her clinic processes have exceeded my expectations of medical professionals. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Dr. Desai and her clinic for your cardiology treatment. Dr. Desai was very thorough in her assessments and treatment of my condition and I am extremely satisfied with the care and attention I received. She is a lovely person who was easy to speak with and made my appointments a lovely time. Also, a special mention must be made of her front desk staff! Elizabeth and Jacella* (spelling - sorry!) are absolutely wonderful! A special note: I experienced a needless setback caused by my insurance company and their insane practices but Dr. Desai took time out of her own work day and advocated for my treatment successfully. As a consequence, I received the procedures that were needed AND I understand how to better advocate for myself with insurance companies that seek to deny my reasonable treatment. Thank you Dr Desai! If you need to see a cardiologist you wilI have full confidence in Dr. Desai's treatment of your condition, and also in the knowledge she is genuine about her patients and advocates for their care.
