Rajkumar Sugumaran, MD, is an interventional cardiologist with the team at Heart One Associates in Phoenix, Peoria, and Buckeye, Arizona. Dr. Sugumaran specializes in complex coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial and venous disease, advanced heart failure, and structural heart disease. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Sugumaran completed his Bachelor of Arts in economics at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He returned to his hometown of Dayton, Ohio, and graduated from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.

Scheduled an appointment not only because of the great reviews, but because I need to see a cardiologist. Appointments are booked out months at many places. I wanted to be productive, so I called the day of asking how my visit would be and the girl on the phone said billing was busy and reassured me that the front desk girls would be able to give me a price. Get to my appointment and I'm told I'll be billed and she has no idea how much. She said billing was busy, again. And bought me to the room. Then I asked again how much and she said let me ask billing. Finally billing said I'd have to call my insurance. But insurance was closed. I had to take time off of work that was a complete waste of time. Awful experience, they treated me like I was less than them. Now I'm left again without medical attention and this place has lost my trust. Sounds like they are lazy and not willing to help. Why even be in that field when you don't care about people. Do not go here and waste your time. Go somewhere where they genuinely care about your well being!!

Upon arrival the staff get you signed in and paid. Waiting is pleasant listening to either the TV and or the professional happy bantering. A Restroom and water are available. The staff prep you for the doctor:s friendly evaluation and future visits. Dr Sugumaran and everyone are akin to a professional football team.

First time visit and everything went very well. The staff was friendly and likable. Dr. Sugamaran knows his stuff and can explain it in a way that's easy to understand. They made a stressful situation much better and developed a game plan right away to get better.

Experience was flawless! Appt time 3pm. In exam room at 3pm. Dr Sugumaran in room at 3:01pm. Dealt with 4 people and everyone was attentive with perfect attitudes!! Nice job everyone! The rest of the world you follow your practices.
