I was very impressed with Dr. Ali the first two times I saw him. He listened to me, took me very serious, and Got to the bottom of my heart condition, which I am truly thankful for. I was then sent to Another cardiologist for a specific Procedure That will be done in December. However, I followed up with Dr. Ali regarding a CT scan and talked about my upcoming procedure. I had a lot of Questions that he seemed in too much of a hurry to want to answer. Not saying I'm right, just saying that was how I was made you feel.The answers he gave me were very vague and told me I could call the place where I was getting the procedure done and ask them. I also had other questions that he gave me answers to, but I did not feel like I could go into detail about them because again, was in a hurry or made me Feel like I was bothering him by asking him these questions. I'll be seeing a different cardiologist for my follow up visit after my ablation. This is very unfortunate because I thought he was great in the beginning. But now, I feel his bedside manners are less than acceptable for me. Being a doctor isn't about always just diagnosing and fixing a problem, it is about empathy and taking time to listen to a patient and their concerns and caring about how they are feeling, when they tell you, "they don't feel good."
