Been seeing Dr. Atmakuri for years now he diagnosed my bicuspid heart valve which I didn't know I had until I was 50 years old, it is a genetic birth defect evidently but they ended up doing an open heart surgery on me and fixing it up and I'm okay. So I would have to say he knows his stuff, and he is a great man and is just a wonderful person to talk with he is kind and caring.
I do not know why a patient would give doctor Atmakuri - or any doctor - one star because of a paper work issue. I have seen Dr. Atmakuri twice, and would continue seeing him had I not moved out of the area. The last time I saw him was in an emergency afib situation. I wound up at Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, AZ, and I thought for sure I would not be leaving without a pacemaker, or needing surgery. He ran all the tests, conferred with his colleagues, and it was determined I needed a medication that more specifically addressed afib. The medication has worked perfectly. Look at Dr. Atmakuri's credentials, and experience his professional yet calming personality, and know you have been treated by one of the finest cardiologists one could expect to find.
Dr. Atmakuri is an extremely skilled and compassionate physician. I cant speak to any paper work delays, but I can tell you this man is very skilled and very caring. When life and heart health is on the line, he is someone to have in your corner.
I wouldn't even give one star!!! Dropped off paper work to be signed by doctor Satya Atmakuri to be able to go back to work last week on 4/5/2017 was told it would take a few days get told today 4/11/2017 it can take up to two weeks to sign paper work Really!!!! I need to get back to work bills piling up. Not only that but they charged me $25 up front just to have paper work signed..I go to another doctor same day to have him sign paperwork had it by the next day and no charge. What the hell Baywood...
I am so fortunate that when I was diagnosed with A fib, (and I was admitted to a hospital in Mesa AZ for something totally different), he attended me. I am totally confident in him and will continue to see him as my cardiologist for the rest of my life, which I hope is a long one!
