My mother was a patient of his and its been a few years since she has seen Dr Shukla. With what I have to say and "I am sure he will know who I am exactly who I am talking about!!!! 2 surgeries of a pacemaker on her left side.. After her second surgery an echocardiogram was done which showing false readings that she was having heart attacks so the leads was malfunctioning. So she ended up having to have a 3rd surgery the leads couldn't be removed because they where embedded in her heart but the pacemaker was moved to the other side of her chest. To make matters worse she almost died because the leads was embedded in her heart and she woke up during surgery. Also, whoever assisted him with the surgery to check on her afterwards pushed on her chest like a threat saying "he saved your life". Wow!! She no longer sees him at all !! Its 2021 she is still suffering from what he did!!! The scar tissue she has causes pain on a daily!! Trust and believe I do not want this happening to anyone else.

Dr. Shukla saved my life, and gave me a much better quality of life. He actually listened to my concerns and ran necessary tests that previous cardiologists did not because they assumed I was too young for said tests. He worked with me every step, I was collapsing and having blackout spells. I needed a pacemaker. The surgery went well, and I have had much more energy. I'm on the right meds as well, instead of calcium/beta blockers and antiarrhythmic medications previously prescribed that made me sicker, Im on a med that increases my BP so I can walk around without passing out. You are your best advocate, and Dr Shukla seems to really understand that.

Dad ended in the hospital and was told to contact his personal heart doctor for a follow up. So dad called. He got a call center. Left a message for the doctor's office to call back and they still have not got back with my dad. That was over a month ago. People die when you are a heart doctor and do not get back with them.

Called for appt and only get a recording asking for my name and phone number. They have never called back to finalize the appt date and time. They don't have a good rapport with their patients. I expect more from medical professionals. Is this why it is called a Practice?
