Dr. Faraj Kargoli, MD, MPH

Recently I had the pleasure of being surgically treated by Dr. Faraj Kargoli for my cardiac issues. I was diagnosed with aortic stenosis and 1 blocked cardiac artery. I had been referred to Dr. Kargoli by my primary cardiologist Dr. Alan Grossman (CVAM.) Dr. Kargoli was very informative regarding what was the cause of my condition and in providing details of what the procedures (TAVR and stent) would entail and what my recovery would be like. He always asked if we had any questions and was patient with his explanations. His medical knowledge, confidence, and commitment provided me with the trust and assurances that everything would go smoothly. I feel my level of care was exceptional and would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Kargoli. My wife and I are extremely grateful to Dr. Kargoli for my renewed lease on life.

I'm very grateful to have Dr Kargoli as my Cardiologist. He was my attending physician for a recent emergency room procedure that led to two stents in my "Widow Maker" artery!!! He is truly an amazing doc and has a very special way of being supportive and encouraging when I was faced with a very challenging medical condition! I initially saw Dr Kargoli after an ER visit in December 2024. After sharing my family history of heart disease Dr Kargoli ordered a thorough series of tests and concluded I had sever regurgitation due to a faulty mitral valve. Dr Kargoli immediately informed my wife after the testing and made her feel secure in the path going forward for me. His recommendation to see a thoracic surgeon lead me to open heart surgery and replacement of my mitral valve and repair to my tricuspid valve. Dr Kargoli is on top of his game. He is up to date and left no stone unturned. I am extremely pleased with my care and Dr Kargoli's continued support of my heart health as I move forward from my open heart surgery.

My husband had to have heart surgery he qualified to have a TAVR, his aortic valve was not closing all the way so blood was flowing backwards. Dr Faraj Kargoli from CVAM did the procedure. Also Dr Corey was also he there just case something went wrong. Everything went very well his healing process was great . Very very little bruising and no pain. I was the person that followed my friend with a heart problem in the ambulance to the Banner Heart hospital. At the emergency room Dr. Kargoli identified that there was a valve problem and took over. He scheduled rehabilitation for a few days to gain strength and then a valve replacement. Throughout the process all communication was clear and all questions throughly answered. He consulted the existing cardiologist and everyone was very happy with his performance. Thank you Dr Kargoli. We highly recommend Dr Kargoli. We refer to him as the Banner/CVAM doctor guardian angel.
