The Dr & medical personnel are great but I had to cancel my appointment for vein check on my legs because I had an extreme headache & nausea & ended up with the flu. Shannon ir another gal from pressing 0 cancelled my appointment for November 7th for a follow-up & that was for my heart that I had tests done for results. I called today and asked Shannon that I needed to appointment because it had been canceled as far as I know and she transferred me over to a long wait about 10 minutes 15 minutes till I got a voicemail saying they're unavailable leave a message. I called back, got Shannon and asked to speak to the Drs medical assistant without saying just a minute or what's your name or you know whatever she just transferred me over to music and music for 5-10 minutes and I hung up and she was just rude as far as not saying anything to me just boom music. I really think people that you have work there to be able to Either get more employees to answer the phones or something because you can't get a hold of anybody over there except for Shannon or maybe another girl that works the front desk and then they transfer you over and you can't talk to anybody. You just have to leave a message.

This very large practice has become unfeeling. We loved Dr Ambrosia. My poor husband had a major stroke in September 2024. CVAM was aware, as they cleared him for several surgeries and also helped arrange for his pacemaker check before his MRI. My husband has been in several nursing facilities for the past year. I spoke to Dr Ambrosia at my own appointment, and he wanted to see Wayne. CVAM cancelled his appointment due to "noncompliance"! Wayne is a stroke VICTIM. He forgets things. Until the past two months, he couldnt even use his cell phone. I did not realize that he needed his cell phone for his pacemaker. Every hospital and nursing home he has been in was given his health information. They and CVAM were "noncompliant" and let this man who is fighting to get his life back. You are not a valued patient at this practice any more. I have been told repeatedly that there is "nothing anyone can do". CVAM is a CORPORATION.

If you want to have anything done with this place you have to do it yourself. After my original appointment I was referred to Simon Med to get a coronary calcium score, so I thought. After a week went by I called Simon Med to schedule but they had not received a referral from CVAM. It took over a month and more than 5 calls (more unanswered than not) to get the referral over to Simon Med properly. Finally I get to Simon Med, do my scan, and was told I would be contacted in the next couple of days by my doctor at CVAM with results. Over a week goes by, I call CVAM who confirmed HAS my results, and was transfered to the scheduling department that didnt answer. Day one was Aug 29th....October 10th im sitting here with results at CVAM that I can't get access to, and no appointment scheduled. Do not recommend...especially if you have a serious heart problem. This should have taken 1-2 weeks max.

I've completely lost trust in this practice. My father has had two strokes, and cardio care is essential--not optional or delayed. We've been going to the Gantzel location, and it has been nearly impossible to speak with someone, receive a same-day response, or even get a reply through their own patient portal. I was explicitly promised I would be dialed in for today's appointment after a serious message and phone conversation with the nurse. That never happened. No call. No follow-up. Nothing. My dad deserves much better care, and so do other patients. It pains me to say this, but I strongly urge others to seek a cardiology practice that takes communication and patient care seriously. This has been deeply disappointing and unacceptable.
