Chatham Heart Center

My husband started coming here after he had a very unexpected stroke (he's young). We had terrible experiences with almost every doctor we encountered during that experience, ranging from neurologists to ER docs that didn't care at all what happened to us. Dr Chatham was quite literally a warm ray of sunshine and I can tell genuinely cared about my husband and wanted to make sure he had his best interests rolling forward repairing a heart issue that caused the stroke. Can't say enough good things about him, he's the sweetest dude ever and my husband literally looks forward to his follow up aptmts bc he loves catching up w him.

As a clinic provider working in primary care, I've had consistent difficulty reaching this cardiology office. Nearly every time I call, during regular business hours, I'm routed to an answering service or a voicemail with no follow-up. It's incredibly frustrating when you're trying to coordinate care for shared patients, especially when it involves something as critical as cardiac care. The lack of responsiveness and accessibility is unacceptable. If this is how they treat other healthcare professionals, I would be very concerned as a patient trying to get timely help. Communication and care coordination are essential in cardiology, and this clinic falls far short.

I went here a while back and during my first initial appointment, I described my symptoms, heart constantly skipping, fluttering, stopping for a second and then starting with a hard rapid heartbeat, high blood pressure, swollen ankles etc. The doctor insisted nothing was wrong with me because I'm young and apparently he was caught up on the rapid heart beat because he asked me in the waiting room if I was doing STREET DRUGS. I mean so everyone could hear. I was shocked of course considering I've never touched the "street drugs" he's taking about. I have a very good reputable job that I've had for 11 years and if I was doing these street drugs that he was trying to chalk my heart issues up to, I probably wouldn't be holding down my career like I do. I had sepsis a few years ago, which took a toll on my heart pretty bad and now have some permanent damage, but I guess because I'm in my early 40s, we don't have heart problems yet.

Just started coming here but seems like a nice place. They always seem to get me in on my appointment time without waiting 30 or 45 minutes like other places.

Dr Chatham is a pleasure to work with and expects exceptional care to be given by all. Most of all he is an excellent doctor and i trust him to take care of my husband and know he is in good care always. He is my favorite doctor.
