Doctors are AMAZING and that's where the value stops. My last two visits consisted of 1 1/2 hours wait to see the doctor. I have never received a bill in 5 years that was not correct and did not require a call by me to explain to them that they can't take my copay, the insurance payment, accept the contracted adjustment and then bill me for MORE than the original service. Final straw that gives a 1 and I would do a zero if possible. To get two prescriptions refilled, which were ordered by the doctor, required two calls to their office AFTER my visit specifically for the refills. They didn't call them in to the pharmacy. One new prescription has been declined twice not because the insurance won't approve it but because the office doesn't provide the necessary information to the insurance. This is following 2 calls from insurance, 3 calls from myself, 4 text messages sent by me and finally an email. That is a total of NINE communications to ask them to respond and the office responded - not by providing information needed, but rather by starting a new request for prior authorization. Don't go to this office unless you have a lot of down time to deal with administrative delays. As I said, the physicians are amazing, unfortunately that comes at a cost. 6/30/2025 Edit to respond to their response. It's a shame that you responded to my review but not my 9 communications. My basic normal routine prescription now has to go through an appeals process - delaying my care! I would love to tell you that on the phone, but this seems to be your preferred communication method as I have yet to receive the call that I was told I would get Again, the Dr is fantastic, the office staff is a poor reflection of that care. It takes a team.

I hate when my appt is 7:40 am and I leave work to be there only to leave at 8:20 and still not being seen. Why is it ok to cancel my appt if I am 15 minutes late yet its ok for me to wait an hour or more to be seen. POOR patient care. Also have never been told why they stuck a pacemaker in me! Need a need doctor.

If I've had problems with this place, it's usually with the front desk. Especially the woman at the front desk. Came in for my appointment, and was told that it was canceled, which was incorrect because it was rescheduled from last week and they had scheduled it for 715 and the woman at the desk keeps saying, you did this, you did that, Someone in your office didn't do their job and it wouldn't be the first time and if it's her, I highly doubt that she admit it lol Needless to say I have to go back in three hours to get the testing done. Let's see how the woman at the desk behaves. Maybe her coffee will kick in and she'll be in a better mood. Not that I care. I would just like them to do their job and treat their patients with a little more respect and kindness.

My husband came in for a scheduled appointment and informed the Cardiologist that he passed out on our porch 30 min before appt. (I was not home so did not know til later). Doc said, eh you're probably dehydrated. After 2 ER visits within days, he was admitted to the hospital. The doctor did not do ANYTHING when my husband told him what happened. Now a few weeks post discharge, our follow up was ridiculous. Doctor didn't understand why hospital changed his meds (he was on 3 blood pressure meds that he did NOT need!) But he literally just shrugged and said, eh ok. Just monitor your blood pressure. Which we have been doing. Every concern, the doc was like, "ok, see you in 3 months". So this was also AFTER we waited over an hour. I started walking around and found every single room empty with the door open, except ours. I finally got pushy and doc showed up. He looked like he had been taking a nap. The staff were sitting around on their phones. I get it that it can be slow and you need down time, but NOT when a patient is waiting! We needed a letter for the DOT and that took another 30 minutes after we were assured "just be a moment" and YES they knew we needed it today. After 39 minutes, they came out and said they will send it eventually. This is definitely one the most ridiculous situations I have encountered at a doctor office in a LONG time. You have a patient having syncope, hit his head, and you don't check anything??? Then have no idea what happened at the hospital, and not only did he not know, but was not even concerned? Just brushed it off. We are changing doctor's 100%.

I have been a patient for 10 years. Always experienced excellent service. With doctors of this speciality, you have to understand emergencies arise. They are heart doctors not dermatologist so understand if they are running late, it's because someone is having a cardiac issue. Dr. Litchenwalter has taken excellent care of me. I have had several difficult procedures and have come through. His bedside manner is wonderful as well.
