This is my mother's heart doctor. She's been diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis. She received an echocardiogram to monitor the condition, insurance paid the doctor $3000 for this test. Mom had an appointment set with the doctor for over a month to go over the test results. She shows up to the appointment on October 31st and reception tells her that the doctor won't be meeting with her, he only sees patients with critical conditions. Her test was analyzed by the doctor on September 24th (we have the time stamp on the medical record). That means that the doctor sat on pertinent information about my mother's medical condition for over a month, and then couldn't take 10 minutes to explain the results to her. We still don't completely understand what's going on with her heart, and the doctor refuses to meet with her. We are not unkind or rude people, we simply want to know what's going on. Completely unacceptable care for a scared old woman who just wants to understand her aortic stenosis.
