Dr Banna is awesome .He knows what he's doing and can transfer his knowledge to you.

Based on my two very recent appointments with Dr. Banna, I can honestly say that he deserves every single one of these five star ratings (I found/picked him based on reviews). I'm very picky with my doctors, especially when it comes to something as important as the heart, so Dr. Banna is now the 5th cardiologist that I've been to (3 in Illinois and now 2 in AZ). He is not only easily the best cardiologist that I've been to, but probably my favorite physician in general. You know that feeling you get when you feel like a doctor is trying to be quick with you so they can get on to their next patient? You don't get that, AT ALL, with Dr. Banna, and I know that he had other patients to see. I probably asked like at least 10-15 questions, some a few times. I didn't notice one slight sign or indication of any type of annoyance. Just very easy to communicate with and he definitely knows his stuff. Well prepared too, he had apparently already known/memorized my specific and I would say "complex" heart scan lab results and was ready to discuss it upon him walking into the room (after coming in directly from seeing one of who knows how many other patients 10 secs earlier). This is for an appointment that I had made to physically hand him that information in packet/DVD form. I didn't know that he apparently already looked up all that information. He must prepare beforehand, maybe before his daily log of patients, and look up records that are available to him, and somehow remember what is wrong with all of us before his (presumable) flood of patients. I can't think of any other provider that has been that well prepared. So that goes a very, very long way with me. If you are reading this and are considering making an appointment, book him ASAP, before he books up completely and you won't be able to get in anymore.
