My husband found incidentally through the process of another surgery that he needed by pass surgery. We cannot say enough about Dr Patel's skillful excellence along with his PA's Kelsey and Terry. The other staff members with front office to Camilla the MA all were thoughtful and caring. If you are looking for excellence in both bedside and clinical skills, this is the practice to engage.

An amazing surgeon, Dr Patel communicates and cares at a level I have never experienced. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a complex cardiac or valvular surgery. Simply the best.

My husband suffered a severe heart attack while in ICU on another matter and Dr. Patel ended up being his heart surgeon as well. My husband had a quadruple bypass surgery due to several blockages all over his heart. There was several times that we didn't know if he was going to make it. Dr. Patel is probably the most attentive, thorough, talented, kind, knowledgeable lung and heart surgeon I've ever met. He is comforting when he has news that's hard to accept. He is very true to his word. He saved my husbands life and we will ALWAYS be forever grateful for him. The staff at Banner Thunderbird ICU also told me just what an amazing surgeon his is to work with as well.

In 2016, Dr Patel also saved my life! I was out of state in Az from NC when I was admitted to West Valley with a leaky Mitral Valve. Dr Patel was my surgeon and was so thorough in explaining to me both verbally and through his handwritten diagrams what was going on and the surgery he needed to perform. I was in ICU for 6 weeks after surgery. I was treated as if I were his only patient with care, professionalism and compassion. The nurses raved about the attention he gave to his patients. I will love and pray for this man forever! Thank you Dr Patel!

Dr Patel saved my brother's life. My brother was diagnosed with endocarditis with vegetation on his heart that led to him needing his aortic valve and tricuspid valve replaced!!. My brother struggled with a lot of medical problems prior to his diagnosis. Dr Patel is one of the Best and most thorough Doctor's we've ever encountered and believe me we have met a lot of doctors. I also love Pritie Dr Patel's receptionist who is also his wife. She makes things happen and is always reminding you of what to do and is always on it. She never lets grass grow under her feet. Dr Patel and her together make an amazing team and our family is FOREVER thankful to Dr Patel and Pritie for all your hard work and for everything you both have done for our family.
