Dr. Parasher earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He went on to a research fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of California in San Francisco before continuing his medical training at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston, where he completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease. During his fellowship, he served as the chief cardiology fellow and was named Outstanding Clinical Fellow.

I absolutely love Dr. Parasher. I have started taking my mother to see him as well. He's very caring he's very forthcoming and always concerned!! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. He shares information that makes it easy for you to understand the importance of following the instructions given. He's very transparent!! I'm just glad I have him as a doctor!!!! I would not trade or change my Heart doctor for anything in the world.
