She sits looking at her computer each short,rushed appt. And reviews test that were done weeks before your present problem. She is not interested in what you are experiencing. Due to six months of untreated afib I ended up in emergency room and hospitalization for congested heart failure.
What a horrible experience! When we asked questions about how we could help my husband improve his test numbers, she repeatedly cut us off before we could finish verbalizing our queries. As a result of her talking over us, we came to the conclusion that either she didn't have answers or simply did not want my husband there as a patient. Eventually she just left in what felt like a huff. Also, when we met with her NP last month, it was just as frustrating and void of any sense of compassion you would hope to have with your doctor.
Doctor Guld has taken care of my husband for 7 years. She is kind and when we meet in the elevator at the hospital gives me an update if I had missed the hospital visit. She always takes the time to answer our questions and help us understand why a very healthy 65-year-old would have a massive heartache on the soccer field.
What a self absorbed unhelpful piece of work! If YOUR patient is asking questions then your job is to answer them. Not disregard them, and walk away. Awful person!
