I was in for a ED follow up appointment. The NP was very nice and seems to care about patients. She advised me to contact her for any questions or concerns since I am waiting for 2 MONTHS for the PCP establishment appointment at the same office. I reached out by pone for some concerns I have and no one called me back. I use the messaging feature at the patient portal and finally got a response after 3 days! The response was, the NP you saw does mostly urgent visits. You need to establish with a provider or you can stop by our urgent care. I guess a couple of questions by phone is not ok. I wonder since a phone call is not a paid visit thats why most doctor's office won't / don't like to talk to you on the phone??? Maybe the rating will go up after the PCP appointment?
