Cardiovascular Institute at Northern Arizona Healthcare

This is my personal experience as I'm not sure what other people's have been. I came in with chest pain looking to see if it was heart related. The staff and doctors have been nothing but kind to me (the people at the front desk could have more social skills, but I assume they get rude commentary from patients on a daily, so I don't blame them much). I had a follow up of my scheduled tests with Karen, and I have never been treated so nicely before. She made sure all of my concerns were covered and assured me that if I had more concerns I can always come back for more tests. I had nothing but a good experience here.

We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Leder. When my husband experienced a STEMI, Dr. Leder responded quickly and with clear expertise. He guided us through a frightening experience with professionalism and care, explaining things in a way that was both reassuring and easy to understand. Beyond his skill in the cath lab, he is also warm and personable--something that made a big difference during such a stressful time. We truly appreciate everything he did for our family.

My experience at the Northern Arizona Cardiovascular was great. Just had to share about my recent visit to this cardiology place - it was honestly great! The building is pretty big with tons of equipment, and super clean too, which is always a plus for a medical place. Check-in was a breeze - the front desk folks were friendly and got me in quickly without making me wait forever (we all know how that goes). Same with checking out - no hassle at all. The real stars were Wani and Summer though. Wani had this really calming way about him that made the whole experience way less stressful. And Summer was gentle and showed empathy and cared about my concerns - not just rushing through the appointment. Everyone there knows what they were doing while still being super nice and accommodating. It felt like they actually wanted to help, you know? If you need heart stuff checked out or want a second opinion from someone who knows their stuff, I'd definitely recommend this place. Thanks for being awesome and actually caring about your patients!

My husband had a heart attack 2 yrs ago and woke up in the middle of surgery to the er cardiologist yanking a broken stent out of his artery. Changed cardiologist but in the same corporation. Had several appts scheduled and canceled by the office, never even met the new doctor in 2 yrs! Thank god for the doctor's assistants. They are the real work horses in this Mickey Mouse outfit. Does anyone really care about patients? NAH is scary honestly.

I don't normally leave reviews, but I am very frustrated at this office. I haven't been seen yet, but it took me calling four different times and leaving messages for someone to finally call me back to schedule an appointment. I finally got to schedule a sleep study consult for five months out. Today I was waiting for them to call for our scheduled appointment and they never did. I called the office to see if I could talk to someone, and of course no one answered. Unfortunately, there are not many options for a sleepy study in Flagstaff, otherwise I would go somewhere else! Please do better at caring for your patients!
