The staff were caring and helpful with all my scheduling needs. I had several tests to schedule in a short amount of time for pre-op clearance and they were able to get it done. The NP I saw spent the time necessary to evaluate my specific problems and work out a plan. She was professional and thorough in her evaluation. During my tests the technicians answered my questions and helped me understand what would happen and when I would know results. I was very pleased with everyone at Chandler Cardiology and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Shakoor. He is a truly outstanding cardiologist. During my appointment, he listened carefully to all of my concerns and addressed each of my questions with patience and expertise. He took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring I understood my diagnosis and treatment options. I never felt rushed, and his calm and compassionate demeanor made a stressful situation much easier to handle. His office staff also very caring, professional and helpful.

The front desk receptionist was super rude. She seemed like she'd rather be any place but there and she definitely made it known. She acted liked shes better than everyone there! She seemed very inconvenienced when I asked her what slots are available for a morning appointment after she only gave me one option... terrible. Also. Double and triple check that youre paying what youre supposed to with your insurance!! She was saying I owe a deductible of $100! Nope nope nope! Not true!! I called my insurance and got things figured out. Ugh.

During my initial appointment, I was evaluated by the physician. My subsequent follow-up regarding the diagnosis was conducted with the Nurse Practitioner, who demonstrated strong knowledge in their field; however, certain questions I raised were not fully addressed. A more comprehensive explanation of my diagnosis from the physician would have been advantageous. I was dissatisfied with the alternative provided for my diagnosis. That said, I find follow-up visits with the practitioner to be satisfactory.

My primary doctor referred me to Dr. Ahtisham Shakoor for cardiac consultation. I was experiencing tightness in my chest, weakness, sweating and fatigue. Dr. Shakoor's entire staff treated me with dignity, kindness and patience. I was given an EKG, a Nuclear Stress Test, and a follow-up to review my results. I was terrified and extremely anxious because I have a fear of Dr.'s. I have to share with you that all of the Cardiology staff exceeded my expectations. They were kind, professional, patient, had awesome people skills, listened well, communicated well, were informative and very understanding. I highly recommend this Dr. for any types of issues with the heart. The staff are highly trained and well-educated. I give this Dr. an A-plus recommendation!
