Dr. Duane Schuil

I was referred to Dr Schull due to high blood pressure and a possible heart attack. This was the first time a cardiologist took the time to have multiple tests run for me. Fortunately, they were negative. At my first appointment I had provided a list of medicines I had severe reactions to. He reviewed all information and agreed mutually to continue doing what I do. He will follow up in a reasonable time. His nurse is very nice. His personality makes me comfotable but I can see that someone may be put off. He is not being rude folks. The office is new and clean.

This supposed cardiologist is the most unprofessional and verbally abusive Dr I have ever met. I am an NP and he probably did not know that. I went to the appt with my boyfriend who has been having cardiac symptoms for over a year. His tests came back normal but he has had gastric bypass surgery which can affect every organ in your body. I told him what my concerns where, he then responded you are trying to be a cardiologist after I told him what I believed where causing his symptoms then he told me I was hindering his care. Then I asked him if he has treated any patients with gastric bypass and he said No. I feel sorry for the people of Bullhead City that this Dr feels he can talk to patients and their family in such a disrespectful and abusive manner! Run from this clown!

I would this Dr and his office a negative review. The dr and his nurse told me that my problems are because of my age (66) and stress. I walk 2 miles everyday. I'm not overweight. I took a detailed report on my high blood pressure readings. My BP cuff is within 9 points of dr's BP cuff. The high blood pressure results were consistently hypertension 2. I was on 3 different BP meds taking a total of 7 pills. I still had BP 164/100 and higher. My primary care did a renal artery test ultrasound. The results showed I had renal artery stenosis. This was causing my uncontrollable high BP. It wasn't stress like the dr's nurse told me again & again.

If we could give this a lesser rating we would. Went in to get the result of a heart monitoring test and proceeded to let us know that 130bpm resting was normal. When we asked what the next step could be in figuring out these symptoms he reported that everything was normal like a robot. Each time getting louder and louder in voice. By the end he's yelling so loud the reception area can hear saying "would you like me to repeat this a 14th time". Clearly he was not willing to help so we walked outta the room letting the receptionist we won't be returning and sarcastically saying it was nice to meet you. He sticks his head outta his office and yells "would you like to me to tell you a 15th time" in front of the waiting room. leaving my mother in tears due to not only his lack of willingness to help or guide in the next step but to barate a human being like so. This complaint will be going further than this. Do not go to this dr.
