About Dr. Muhammad Khakwani, MD
Dr. Khakwani earned his medical degree from Baqai Medical University, one of the oldest Private Medical Institutes in the country and finished top 20 in his class. He then completed his USMLE exams and joined Newark Beth Israel Medical Center as a research assistant where he worked for 1 year publishing numerous papers in the field of Cardiology. He then joined Jersey City Medical Center for his Internal Medicine residency where he was voted as Most Outstanding Resident and Chief Resident. Given his passion for Cardiology he then joined Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for his Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowships and was appointed as the Associate Chief Fellow and Chief Fellow in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
